Saturday Morning Thoughts....

1. MJ's HOF induction showed again why he is the greatest of all time and will always be the greatest. His speech was actually something you wanted to listen to, not just 20 minutes of corporate cliches, etc. Too bad he had to share the limelight with on of the game's dirtiest players ever, John Stockton, and the awkwardly dorky Little Mermaid/David Robinson.

2. Colorado is a disgrace. The Buffs' defense looked like Nebraska's did under Kevin Cosgrove. Gaping holes everywhere, no tackling, little effort. Giving up 57 points to a MAC foe may be worse than any performance the Coz managed, however. Cody Hawkins sucks, and it's time for him to hit the bench. Sure he threw for 356 yards, on 64 attempts!! That a paltry five+ yards
per pass.

3. Why am I getting the feeling that as even the national media (who have big love for the Suckeyes) write off Ohio State's chances completely today, that they are going to win? FYI, you can still get them at +240.

4. Steve Stricker is pissing away his FedEx cup chances. No sooner did he take the lead did he start the BMW Championship with a 72-73 to fall 10 shots back. One ounce of pressure and he melts down completely. Win or lose, we know he's crying somewhere.

5. Cubs win four straight, go five over .500. Too bad it's way too late. Having a good closer would have them in the playoffs, easily.
