Interesting (Sad) Numbers

The OWH has uncovered some interesting numbers. PYB has listed some of NU's national rankings below the link.....NU still doesn't value the ball or making a difference on special teams, for some reason unknown to mankind....in this day of narrow (if any) talent margins, games are won or lost there....

Offense
Rushing--61st (no good, just like CU under Watson)
Passing--42nd (no good, just like CU under Watson)
Total--58th (no good, just like CU under Watson)
Scoring--48th (28.7 ppg, unbelievably bad)
Red Zone--95th

Defense
Rushing--22nd
Passing--13th
Total--8th (think of how much better the MaybeShirts would be w/ an offense)
Scoring--5th (11 ppg allowed, even with 8 turnovers against ISU and TT debacle)
Red Zone--61st

Special Teams
Net Punting--88 out of 120 at 39.4....rancid)
Punt Returns--51st (9.7 ypr...national leader at 20.0...used to avg 17 under TO)
Kick Returns--57th (22.17 ypr...national leader at 31.7..see ya Papuchis)

Turnovers
Margin--96th (-.71)
Fumble Recoveries--80th (5)
Interceptions--73rd (5....still not enough playmakers on D)
Fumbles Lost--81st (8)
Interceptions Thrown--51st (7)
