Last year, Soriano keep his leadoff spot in the playoffs.....this year, Kevin Gregg's fat, 82-mph fastball ass staying the closer despite 5 blown saves (6 after last nite) and five losses and now a 4.42 ERA......not sure how you ever sign a stiff this bad in the first place, but it's cost the Cubs a playoff spot this season. Despite all the slumps & injuries, they could have overcome it with a quality closer. Another tank job in the 9th in San Diego last night cost the Cubs any realistic playoff shot....
