Stars & Bars takes a dive last night, joining Oklahoma State as overhyped preseason darlings who pissed the bed in a big way early. The Rebels were thoroughly dominated by a South Carolina team produced its usual offensive ouput of 16 points. PYB predicted this meltdown, as well as Okie State's. Ole Miss certainly has to be the worst top-five team in NCAA Division I history. Second place goes to current number five, excuse me while I laugh my fucking head off....Penn State.Fueled by that impressive win against Oregon, Boise State holds down number eight. Coming off a win over an overrated and injury-marred USC squad, Washington jumped into the top 25 despite being one of the worst teams in CFB's recent memory last year. Oh wait, they have a former USC coach as their new coach, so they must be good. Michigan gets rated after beating a shitty Notre Dame squad....who the next week almost lost ot a shitty Michigan State Spartan crew. But Nebraska loses by one point to the supposed #13 team, and drops from 18 to 24. Go figure.
