I always enjoy reading these, even though NU-graduate Lee Barfknecht has had a stick up his ass about the Cornhuskers since Frank Solich got fired. It was obvious he hated the next regime, and this season he puts KU ahead of NU in the preseason rankings. This, despite NU dominating the Jayhawks in 2008. So it's a new season, but he ranked KU's defense as 7th and NU's as fourth. Offensively, KU was third and NU sixth. Claiming the Jayhawks are 'loaded' on offense is just false. WR Dezmon Briscoe can be dominant, but as for the rest, Mr. Barfknecht is confusing dominant with 'returning starters.' Its PYB, Lee. As for the B12 South, does anyone else think that Texas is hugely overrated? Not that we'll find out, given the Longhorns schedule. It makes NU's nonconference slate look nearly respectable.
