Bluejays Roll
It didn't take long for Creighton to blast Nebraska Tuesday night, as the first two batters went deep and the Bluejays pounded the Huskers 13-5. It's always a shame to lose to a second-rate program like Creighton (apparently North Dakota is the most NU can handle in a mid-week game), but if an embarrassment such as this is what it takes to get Mike Anderson the hell out of town then we are on board. Absolutely terrible.
The latest in the line of excuses: “Again, you've got to pitch,” NU coach Mike Anderson said. “You go through the last five or six games, we've given up too many runs. We've got a plan. I felt good about Chase Adams. I didn't feel bad about our energy. I didn't feel bad about anything. We just didn't pitch well.”
See ya Mike.
